Possbilities.

For those who aren't aware - I took four years of Spanish in high school. In college, I double-majored in computer science and Spanish. I started out in Spanish at the "intro to literature" level (the highest course you could test into) and was bored off my behind because I'd just DONE that the year before, in high school. Half the same books, and so on. *laughs* At least the instructor did not require me to watch El Norte again, despite its being shown to the class. Apparently my explanation of how much I disliked it convinced her I remembered it well enough. *grins wryly*

Anyway, in the three..no, four! Scary. Four years since I graduated, I have used my Spanish, but not with native or other speakers, just reading and to myself, a bit; and I have not studied it at all.

I don't want to lose this. So I'm looking at community college courses. I've got a query out as to whether the instructor of one course minds my pager, because I will have it some weeks, much as I dislike that fact. But if they don't mind, the class is ideal, really. It's less than five minutes from where I work, even.

We'll see. There are other options, if it doesn't work out.
