Oh dear! Now I am very curious. I will find out this afternoon - looking forward to it.
Actually, amusingly, unless something is quite large the best way to send it is USPS (I've never had anything DHL delivered, so they may be fine, but our mailboxes have two protected package holders).
UPS likes to leave packages hidden under the door-mat, because they can't leave it unless it is "concealed". They will not change this even if you put orders in writing, all you can do is get them not to leave packages at all. I have, in the course of getting 5-10 packages through them, almost stepped on one small one (saved by the fact that they dragged it to one side before covering it, but that is not, IMO, excusable), and missed seeing two. One of those my husband caught. The other, we didn't find until the next morning, and it spent the night on our porch in the rain. We both entered through the garage, but if there had been a visible package on the front porch, I believe we'd have noticed and gotten it. The dumb thing is, if you are actively looking for a package, you will see them. But if you are not, well...so I don't feel that they are very "concealed" from trouble-makers, just from me! :P
