Parenting cleverness sometimes works.

I'm in the restroom and Drew doesn't want to let me alone. His Dad was trying to get him to close the door.

Me: "Hey, Drew! I'm taking a shower next! Are you here 'cause you want a shower too? Want to get scrubbed?"

Door: instantly shut, toddler on outside.
