Plans, and all that.
*mutters* So I talked to our city park folks, and asked if they had the number of a place I could swim, since I know many park & rec. districts do that, and the phone book was not helpful. This was last week. They gave me a park & rec. reference and a swim center at the local high school. The former turns out to be out-of-district (gee, bright of them, to send me to some place that doesn't cover our CITY), and the latter - well, the number they gave me goes straight to the high school, which is to say it gives me a message that they're on summer break.
I'm either going swimming tomorrow or I'm not; and if I am, I'll probably go to the out-of-district park & rec. place and pay the doubled fee, which is still not too bad. It's just ANNOYING.
And on that note, good night for real.
