Okay, that was fun. But it could've waited 5 minutes longer.
Decided to go out again and take pictures, knowing I had only one set of batteries (the one in the camera), and that they'd been used a fair bit earlier in the day. I didn't really know how many pictures I'd get, before they said "enough is enough", but I figured I'd try. I parked at the Tigard public library and I got some shots of this great ("great" as in atmospheric, not "great" as in I'd want to live there!) house near there, and rows of schoolbusses, and other sorts of stuff. On the way back to the car, I stopped to photograph a couple of pine cones on the ground, and batteries gave their last "urk" and ditched the shot. So I only missed one of the shots I wanted, but now the recharger will be busy at least through tomorrow, maybe Monday....
Argh! If I want pictures tomorrow, I'll have just the one set recharging to work from. That's not bad - as long as they really, fully recharge. Because Scott and I are going to meet the realtor. We're not going to see houses tomorrow, however, she's in an area of Portland we don't often go to. So I'm thinking of taking the camera anyway, to get shots if anything catches my eye. Still, I'm sure I'll see her office again before this is all finished (well, maybe not, but probably). So...we'll see. I should have a set of batteries, and that should be plenty. I hope.
