Okay, they at least showed some sense after the fact, but..."zero tolerance" policies still clearly equate to "zero brains" policies. AUGH!

Scary, especially considering how foolish I was back in high school. This, at least, was back pre-Columbine, but I'd carry my leatherman in my bag most of the time, and on several ocassions I had a dagger in my boot just for the sake of 'Look at what I can carry.'

I really was an idiot.

As much as I was generally disliked in high school I'm awfully glad they didn't have -that- type of idiocy to hold over my head. As it is, I got put on probation most of my senior year for trying to qualify for a scholarship when I was supposed to be at a pep rally. I wonder what they do in biology class at these places?
