Wheeeee.
Day started off poorly with annoying issues.
Got steadily better. I can deal with today. Putting in changes. Working on stuff. It's grey outside, and rainy, and wet, and very pretty. It smells of wet pavement and heat, and it's entirely pleasant.
In contrast to the second floor. The entire second floor in this wing is getting a new tenant. They've been doing 24x7 buildout work for a couple weeks now, and have more ahead of them. I'm not amused. Today, it smells of paint and maybe stripper in large quantities. Yesterday? Dust. Lots of dust. Yesterday was something dry-wall-ish, I think.
First floor far wing is also getting remodelled for a new tenant, but I don't have to walk through it to get out, so that's a bit better. Still, yesterday it had the lobby all dusty. They had someone in cutting through a wall. Jeez, construction zones.
But, hey. I had beef barley soup for lunch, none of the noise or smell is getting into my office, and the chaos has backed off enough that I'm getting code written!
