I have no stamina.

I've only worked ten-hour days this week, and I feel so worn down and out of it. I have one coworker pulling an 80-hour week (I personally think he's nuts, and it is his first and maybe his last, and he did work Sat & Sun to do it)...and here I am whining about steady ten-hour days.

But, yes, I am whining. For all of that, I left at five yesterday (and then did some work at home). In some ways that was a mistake. There was a problem on 205 Northbound and I-5 south was backed up alllll the way to 217. I knew as soon as I was on the ramp that I should not have taken this route.

Once in it, of course, I was too stubborn to get out of it.

Yesterday was woefully hot. One huge advantage to work: air conditioning. Scott had the day off, and I think he regretted it by the time I got home, unfortunately. 90-degree days and houses without air conditioning go poorly. Although the downstairs wasn't too bad, it wasn't great either. Supposed to be a bit better today; I sure hope so.

Current weekend plans: If the weather is still no-rain for the weekend proper, I may seal the deck Friday night or Saturday morning. I have my doubts about this, the forecast keeps changing its mind about that whole "rain" thing. Japanese Gardens Saturday morning during the member-only hours, possibly a clothes store (I'd like a couple more business-type shirts that don't fry me, before I spend a week at a client site...). Home, and some work while at home. Sunday, visiting my parents (father's day, after all) and not sure what else. Probably more work. It's unfortunately a lot to be done.
