Okay, I scare myself.
Working on a build now to test the things I came in early to look at. I got here at 6 on the dot, with my lunch made, having gotten up very slightly after 4:30.
I'm perky. I'm not awake, but I am perky, at least according to the project manager I have to work with. (Of course I am. Her project resulted in my being up at this hour - and also in her being up at this hour. I chirped at her on the phone; why not?)
So far I'm feeling okay but I suspect I'll regret this later today. Of course, that might be tempered by leaving work at about 3 pm which is my current plan.
The roads between home and work are surprisingly busy at 5:45 am...but still not busy. Just constant traffic, enough that you have to think about lane changes. It is, by the way, a 15 minute drive in totally clear traffic, able to do the speed limit all the way. So my 20/25-minute commutes in traffic are pretty impressive, I guess.
I'm going to go initialize project directories for another 4 projects while this thing compiles, then I can assign someone else to do the run of the metrics....
