Bleargh. Good morning.

I have a long week ahead, I suspect. There's a lot to be done before the team takes off Wednesday, so today and tomorrow I may have to work late; I'll have the after-hours pager, as well. We have to finish getting the house cleaned up (it is so much closer to done! - Scott did the bathrooms, bless him, I hate those) as well.

Friday I get that filling replaced and get my stitches out. Friday evening D&E will call. Saturday is probably devoted to them.

Sunday I might get caught up on the stuff I will probably drop the ball on this week. I'm sure laundry will still need to be done by then. These few minutes here where I post this are probably the last of the peace until at least Wednesday, and I doubt Wednesday will be terribly peaceful.

I don't want to pull a long day. But I think I'd better, to be sure all that needs doing gets done. Today's tasks:

1. Vet the changes I already looked at while working yesterday.
2. Test them (and pull half the team to help).
3. Check them in.
4. Prep the live database at the site (after warning project manager, site); notify site when complete. Update test database to corresponding layout.
5. Confirm layout decisions and freeze everything not yet live (including this site) against the new layout.
6. All my usual job stuff that comes up, which usually involves email, estimates, and schedule, in addition to the above.

Tomorrow's tasks:
1. Get the live CD set up for the site (M will do this, under my supervision, as he is learning the process).
2. Continue testing and repairing those changes.
3. Update changes to operate in the module they presently do not operate in.
4. All my usual job stuff, etc.

What I got done this weekend was less than I'd have liked, in terms of the stuff around the house and my life. And it felt like continually almost-more than I could do. Bah, and humbug.

I've spent enough time writing this. If I am nearly quiet, or very very babbly, now you will know why.
