Ahhh, things that make you think twice (twice? 40 times) about using eBay....
Like the experience Spider Robinson had trying to get a new laptop there. Yep, fraud. Yep, eBay handles it badly.
Handling fraud badly is a big enough mistake. Doing it to a writer, who knows exactly how and where to vent his frustration, didn't help. But in the end - he's still out the money.
