Interesting article (which I haven't followed up on) describing proposed laws (in several states - Texas, Massachussetts, South Carolina, Florida, Georgia, Alaska, Tennessee, and Colorado) that, in an effort to extend the DMCA (as if it needs any extension!) would arguably make encrypted email, and network address translation, illegal.
Now wouldn't there be hell to pay if that happened, then?
