Ahhhh. A day.
Today was hectic. Made especially so by the fact that I was facing it on six hours of sleep and half-remembered dreams that I gave up to get up. It was a good hectic - I got a lot done, really, and wasn't the lucky party with any of the unpleasant problems, nor were any of those really very big. But it was still hectic.
On the way home, I made a few stops. Library for a book I had waiting there (it came in yesterday, but I couldn't get it, since they were only open while I was up at Easter dinner - nor did I really miss it, actually). Before that, Cost Plus to wander and look (I came very cose to buying a couple of things I don't need nor would use - the frog for a friend was very tempting, but it wasn't all that attractive, and humor value is not worth the shipping cost of what felt like solid metal...). Then Fred Meyer's (grumble, grumble, snarl, dammit, no one else had it, I tried Winco and Safeway) to get sea salt and some oil. Which is when I was reminded that Cadbury's cream eggs are now on sale, so....
Vegged tonight. Read from the book, stared at the computer screen, no brain. So I signed off early and went and took an hour-long soak. Warm water, salt, sweet-smelling soaps: color me happy.
Bed now, for real. I feel more rested than the rest of today, though.
