One of my friends dubbed today a surrogate Monday....
...and I really must agree. Various issues ambushed me when I arrived at work, none disastrous, all niggling and nuisancy. Lots of email. Lots of spam (thank you, thank you, universe - just what I needed!). Lots of things to do.
And yes, I'm posting this from home, where I am about to go back to working. Why? Because the Monday-spirit decided that the button should pop off my pants partway through the morning. As I had to come home anyway, I might as well work from here, because I haven't got any meetings this afternoon and my boss didn't mind. And there is only so long that you can count on "the zipper hasn't undone itself yet" to make you feel good. Doubly so when going home is a viable option (possibly even a good one, since I keep hitting pauses where I have to wait for stuff - starting a break then and doing something around the house is completely achievable).
