G'morning! *perky* *insane*
Man. Sleeping in the computer room last night was probably a good idea. Went to "bed" right after that last post; slept restlessly. I can sleep in strange places easily enough but the floor of the computer room is more of a stretch than a hotel bed, and for some reason I kept dreaming about code, working with code, being in code, writing code. I was trying to solve some problem from work. I don't remember what it was, whether it was a real one or made up in the dream, but I know I didn't solve it so who cares? If I'd had a brilliant insight, I'd be annoyed at not being able to remember it to decide if it was garbage or not. *grin*
Woke up right around six anyway. Sigh. The AC is still going strong - the room is already edging up from the 75 it's set at, though it was just on fan for a while in the night, I suspect. It's trying, though, and walking out into the hallway is enough to knock me over - the difference is noticeable already. I think I could fall asleep in the temps out there now...barely.
Probably going to go run errands in a few here as I really do want a couple things, and I'd just as soon get them before it's hot. I suspect I'll be napping later in the day, whenever the "Wait, that was only 7 hours of broken sleep" effect catches up with me. I used to just sleep in when that happened, but no more. I think I'm glad, really - most of the time.
