I am alive! And I have groceries.
I like Albertson's. I asked if they had comment cards, and she showed me a set of different types of cards, depending on whether you wanted to comment generally, make suggestions on what they should stock, or I think a couple other things (I sort of stopped paying much attention at the one I wanted).
I have groceries again.
Lunch would have been better had there not been a blob of green-yellow fuzz on my sandwich's bread, spotted after I'd eaten 1/3 the sandwich (but nothing right next to the fuzz). Lunch would have been worse had I not seen it, I imagine....
I got some development done today - will wonders never cease? Then I got sucked into a conference call (unexpectedly - found out about it earlier this morning) at 1 pm and didn't get out until 2:50 or so. And it was around 3:30 before I finished all my followup notes (not counting 4-5 designs and estimates that need to be written - after my boss confirms from my notes that I'm to write them). Still, I had enough time left before I headed out to get most of my development checked in before my changes spiralled out of my control, beyond all hope of explaining them to anyone. *snicker* Now to do the next phase in that piece. Bleh. But I've got in every change that my coworker needs for his piece of the development to progress.
Scott and I now have memberships to the Portland zoo. I'm honestly not at all sure if this is worth it or not. He really likes zoos, though, and I go past ours every time I go to the gardens. More than once, I've thought it would be neat to wander about a bit, but not worth the price of admission; and yet, the time we went, it was okay. It took too long, though, because I tried to see/do everything and "get my money's worth". We'll see whether I want to renew in a year or not. And whether Scott does.
Less than two hours until that meeting. Here's hoping it goes well. Bleh.
