From your vantage point in front of the computer:

1. Something that is red:

The little toy car sitting on the shelf above my laptop.

2. Something that is shiny:

The car. Also, the container of kiwi lip gloss, if you want a different object.

3. Something that is ugly:

The pile of receipts waiting to be added up and put into the checkbook and budget so I can toss most of the actual papers.

4. Something that is made of wood:

Hmm. Actually, it's questionable whether the desk is real wood. Or any of the other obvious choices, including the "wood" photo frame. Aha! There's a tree I see outside through the window: I am fairly sure that is not fake. :)

5. Something that is sharp:

Scissors, in their usual place on the windowsill.
