I am overtired, overheated, and happy. Drew played in the bounce houses this time thanks to his friend Alex more or less dragging him into one, and he had a blast. Also the hot dog he's been wanting. He turned down a free fireman's helmet but took the fire and police badge stickers. Hee. And the free flying whirligig toy from the gaming store we love.<br /><br />Some freebies got skipped, though. Free cotton candy? Line a mile long. (Not literally, but huge.) Contest for Domino's Pizza freebies? Ditto. The air-brush face painting? Even longer.<br /><br />Still, I love <a href="http://www.funinthepark.info/">Fun in the Park</a>: if you're willing to wait, all of those were free.<br /><br />And there were 6? or more bounce houses, games galore, a stage with music, etc. Some vendors, yes, but lots of free stuff and community outreach.
