Blergh.
I'm not sure exactly what high we hit here today - definitely 102 or above, but the 105 and 107 readings I got are suspect (as I got them from the car's temperature gauge, which is, well, I wouldn't bet on it matching reality).
Whatever we had as a high it was Way Too Hot. I love my AC, but it's still just barely keeping it tolerable (of course, it was off while we were at work - I came home at noon with stomach ills, and that may be the only reason the house is remotely bearable, actually).
The bad news is, throughout the week, the forecasts for today went up so that it was warmer than anticipated. The good news is, tomorrow, which was forecast for 106-107 at one point, now looks more like 100. Not that I like that idea, but it's the right direction, anyway.
I was going to get my shots Monday or Tuesday but I think I'll make that Tuesday or Wednesday - maybe even Friday. Heat is not a good thing for this. Edited to add: Definitely Wednesday or Friday. My neighbors (back yard neighbors, not side-by-side neighbors) have been cutting that lovely pasture full of hay. My eyes itch. And that's just from what comes in with the AC on. Um.
