The mist is pretty.
I'm getting stuff done, which is good. I'm getting code written. It's at times like this that I like my job the best.
And outside my window, the mist gathers thick enough to grey the trees behind the building opposite. This morning and even as recently as an hour ago it swirled close around my building, blurring the outline of the building across the street, feathering over the trees in our own parking lot, and drifting in patterns that looked like horizontal rain - rain that had simply grown bored of the idea of falling down, and was doing it sideways instead....
Beautiful. Just beautiful.
