For those who took the quiz, and those who didn't.....
Anyone who took the quiz and wanted to see the answers asked for them to be emailed to them, I'm sure. (The quiz is closed now.)
But here are a few details that amuse me:
Flowers. Iris is my favorite right now, but I love both rose and lilac, just not quite as much at this moment. I am, in fact, allergic to all of them, but it doesn't mean I like them less for it.
Foods. Chicken parmesan is a doubly-whammy: a blended flavor that's too rich for my tastes, and cheese, which means I'd have to take a pill to be sure it wouldn't upset my stomach. Mind you, I don't necessarily love the other choices (though Twix bars and lentil soup, I do), but I like them just fine, and won't wince if they're served to me.
Pets. You all are in for some pet stories somewhere in the near future, I think. Sweety was a cat I named when I was five or so. My mother thought I was nuts to give him that name, but he lived up to it. And Jack was my parakeet. Lightfoot was another cat, and Basta is a cat who is still living with my parents. Shadow was the first name I thought of randomly that wasn't screamingly obviously not me, but which name I had also never given to a pet. (I'm sure no one would have any trouble guessing that I've never had a "Fluffy".)
Techno-geekery. Laptop would have been at the top of the list 3 months ago. It'll be a few years before I recover enough from the laptop nightmare to view a new one with such enthusiasm, I think. *grins*
And for those of you who answered house by the ocean - not as much as I want the forest. If I could get a house by a stream, in a forest, a half-hour's drive from the ocean, that would be just about perfect, though.
Languages: Spanish and English. I'm capable of saying a few words, but not a sufficient vocabulary for directions, in Japanese, German, and French. (Yes/no hello/bye sorts of things. And 'idiot' and 'oh, cute!' in Japanese, thanks to my friends...none of which vocabulary will so much as let me ask where the bathroom is, were I ever to need to.)

In practice, I thought only my parents could probably get the pet one, because of Jack.
In actuality, after talking to them (they never took it), I discovered they would have missed that one, because they had a dog named Jack before I was born, and that was who came into their heads when they heard that name! So they would've chosen him as well. *laughs* My poor, forgotten parakeet.
Re:
Some I had to do a little guesswork, but the rest I tried to answer from what you write about every day!

He used to walk on my globe, when let out of his cage.
