*sighs* I hate taxes. Hate it when I don't do things right away, too.

I meant to do my taxes sooner. At least I'm not right up against the wire. I need to get a form I don't have, though. I wasn't aware I'd get to file extra paper for that damned interest. I'm not sure it's worth it. :P

On the other hand, if we get a house, we will also get a tax preparer. You think I find this annoying? At least it isn't as tangled as that will be....

Also, congratulations to my desktop for crashing while I was trying to do my taxes. Bah.

I'm not looking forward to the taxes this year. My disability money's taxable, but there's no withholding. Of course, most of it's been going to COBRA payments (most of which should be refunded to me in the next few months, making next year's taxes another nightmare). Ick.

Going away to think about something else...

Icky icky icky ick!

I am terrified of taxes. Seriously. I get all freaked out, psycho and anxious about them. It probably doesn't help that I have this 'math blockage' that I've carried with me since grade 11 math class. If it's not fairly simple and straight-forward, I get easily overwhelmed and start having panic attacks. *shudder*

So, I just grab everything and march down to H&R Block. I thrust it all at them and say, "You do it. Sure, I'll pay you. No problem. Just don't make me deal with the evil evil numbers." *laugh*

Ugh, sorry to hear about the crashing in the midst of the taxes. :( *HUGS* Was anything recoverable? Or did you have to start over?
