It is by way of being a good day.
Okay, it started out rocky, but at least I got enough sleep last night that a 5:30 wakeup call was okay. And I haven't had the call come back for a while, as well. Scott got Subway last night without warning me, so I'd already had dinner and couldn't eat it - so I had a wonderful lunch today, instead. It was perfect.
Plus, I've done the laundry (okay, the towels aren't folded yet), loaded the dishwasher (and I'm going to start it in a bit here - just haven't yet), washed the hand-wash dishes, taken the trash out (including cleaning out anything that belonged in that category from the refrigerator), and cleaned the counter/sink/mirror area in the bathroom (which sorely needed it).
I've also re-read The Witch Doctor. Why, I'm not sure; it's not my favorite novel of all time, by a long shot. I suppose just because it was sitting there. It's grey and wet outside again, very pretty, but while I was reading it was clear and sunny. It didn't make me want to walk (it's cold out there!) any more than I already did, but it made a lovely warm puddle of sunshine on the bedroom floor to lie in while I read. (The weather is very ambivalent today; it's brightened up to sunshine-through-clouds and no falling rain, in the time it took me to type that up. Yay, cloud breaks.)

They're kind of fun the first time, but are in the "fluff" category as far as rereading. Thus far, I would categorize The Witch Doctor as the worst of the series, as well.
