So far, so good.

Today has been marvelous. I wrote a bit of code to support a new feature we'll soon have on Ashes (prebuilt housing, which was actually intended to be done a while ago, before I got swamped). I desced five new grid rooms and the appropriate exits; once someone else looks them over, they'll go out and be used (and probably confuse people who, like me, have learned the exact number of rooms they need to go in any direction - ah, well).

I've scened Satha, and read more of Animist (which book I am still trying to decide if I like - the world interests me, but the character and situation are a bit hard to maintain empathy with, for some reason).

I weighed in with my opinion on various things on Ashes, and I got all my @mail read, and I posted the update to the bboard about the new *Inspections mail-alias.

I finished a history writeup for my character for the staff game of D&D, a rough draft, and tossed it off to see if it could fly or not.

Yeah. So far, so good. I do mean to go for a walk, and I haven't yet, but otherwise I'm doing pretty well.

Animist is by Eve Forward, yes? I tried another of her books and just couldn't get very far. The premise sounded interesting, but... Animist sounded interesting too, so I'll be interested to hear your final verdict. I've been trying to decide if it's worth looking for at the library.
