G'morning.
I'm tired, as might be expected. I'm working from home, at least for this morning, possibly for the day, because I don't feel up to driving.
That is, if I can get my laptop to work. My home desktop has none of the software I need for my job. (Nor will it ever: that software doesn't play nice with other stuff, and I prefer not to have to occasionally battle my way back to a stable configuration.....)
Right now, my laptop's screen has decided to flake out. I have it hooked up to Scott's monitor (he's at work, after all), which it does not like, and therefore the image is pathetic. I'm debating whether or not to try to fix it further, because frankly, getting it to this state (where the image was roughly useful) was a pain in the backside.
Trying to sort out last night's mess, but waiting for a call back from one of our specialists to help me.
Update: Hah! Still waiting for the call (the specialist was late today, apparently), but the monitor is behaving, now. Mind you, I had to sort of whack the computer, and reboot it a few times, but it's behaving.
