The Friday Five.

Why? Eh. Because I'm contrary, I suppose. And I'm feeling better today, so after this it's time to go make my lunch for work.

1. Do you watch sports? If so, which ones?

I will on rare occasion watch figure skating without whining, if you count it a sport. Otherwise, no, I don't watch sports, unless someone has tied me to a chair facing the TV, or the like.

2. What/who are your favorite sports teams and/or favorite atheles?

Yeah, right.

3. Are there any sports you hate?

Most of them? In varying degrees. They're such a stupid waste of energy and cultural attention. The more violent the sport is, the more likely I am to think that it's dumb. If it's less likely to injure you, it's at least a form of exercise worth the effort, even if it looks stupid and watching it makes no sense, after all.

4. Have you ever been to a sports event?

Not that I remember. Thank goodness.

5. Do/did you play any sports (in school or other)? How long did you play?

Not counting P.E., no. Playing has more value than watching, but playing competetively? Hah. Next.

So, sports are stupid to watch (to which I agree wholeheartedly)? What about playing them (the not-so-violent ones, anyway)? Do you enjoy playing some sports in a non-competative setting? Would you?

Just some questions. Made me curious. :->

Heh. Okay. Just asking. :->
