I'm on the backup phone, but it's reasonable to have a life on the backup phone, as long as that life doesn't take you too far from home or the office.

Then N, on the primary phone, got home tonight. And called to say that, gee, he has no internet or phone and they're saying 24-48 hours to get it back. So, now I'm functioning as primary and M is functioning as my backup.

Nah, I think I will skip doing anything like roleplaying that will be too annoying if interrupted....
