And more on the weather and a week

It's a lovely week so far, overall. Getting things done always feels so nice, and I've gotten things done at work, caught a sale and stocked up on groceries, and on and on. Very productive. And I've still found time to read and write.

I still have not found time to check my photos from Sunday night, alas. Sometime soon - they won't get any better or worse for sitting a bit. The paper did have a very good photo of the storm on. Not enough so for me to pick up a copy, though, but I enjoyed looking at it in the one my coworker brings to work each day.

Depends on where I am and my mood. :) Joel On Software (Joel Spolsky), a book on C#, a book on system architecture, The Outstretch Shadow (Lackey & Mallory), and/or Persuasions of Fall (Ann Lauinger - poetry).

So far...mostly readable. I wouldn't buy it in hardcover. I am not sure about softcover. It founders on some boring sections. I have literally skipped or skimmed all the chapters from one viewpoint because, really? The book is huge and those sections are uncomfortable and not very interesting to me. They may be important - in fact, I know they are, skipping them I am as in-the-dark as the main characters are, almost - but if I had to read them I'd just give up on the book. And I reallllly want to know what happens.
