Collected gratitude
Because it's been a while.
01/14: I am grateful for paper plates and wrapping paper, sweet treats and smiles. Birthday party today should be low key fun.
01/15: I am grateful for birthday parties, conversation, frosting smeared faces, big fat snowflakes, hugs, and hot breakfasts.
01/16: I'm grateful for birthday presents (chip clips from Drew!), snow that waited until after appointments, brownies, and hugs.
01/17: I am grateful for silly cats, lovely snowfall, sleep, and to-do lists (because wow do I forget things these days).
01/18: Today I am grateful for our freedoms, our right to due process, and those who defend them (in law and in the military).
01/19: I'm grateful for good dental care, grocery stores, and toddler enthusiasm.
01/19 (again): I am also grateful for the crisp lines of tree branches against the soft grey of the cloudy winter sky.
01/19 (again): I am also grateful not to be in one of the flooded areas of my state. Yikes. http://www.katu.com/news/local/Flooding-in-Turner-Oregon-137684138.html
01/20: I'm grateful for paperwork, cell phones, new toddler clothes, chats with random people, burgers, and lactase tablets.
01/21: I'm grateful for sleep, lazy Saturdays, not being in a flood zone, books, chocolate, and free birthday-month burgers.
01/21 (again): I'm grateful we have lots of clothes for Ian, who is growing like a weed. His torso length means 3-6 month, all but pants.
01/22: I am grateful for two little boys snuggled sleeping against/on me, and early morning light to let me watch them.
01/23: I am grateful for salads, chocolate chip cookies, warm cuddly blankets, silly sprawling cats, email, and digital cameras.
01/24: I am grateful for umbrellas, cell phones, heat and eat sausage, snuggly baby Ian, music, and audio books.
01/25: I am grateful for cellphones and apps, laptops and cats, friends and cons to look forward to, and compliments for/on Ian.
01/26: I am grateful for sweet words from Drew, the internet, email, and Scott watching Ian while I cleaned out my car. :)
01/27: I am grateful for fitting into pre-pregnancy pants again, for the chance to see friends, and for the radio.
01/28: I am grateful for friends, old and new, for songs and shared voices, for friendly laughter, for a comfortable place to sleep.
01/29: I am grateful for hot breakfast with tea, sleeping Ians, strollers, silly toddlers and companionable conversations.
01/30: I am grateful for #Conflikt even if I am sad it's over. I'm glad for the music & most of all for friends and time with them.
01/31: I am grateful for easy first drop offs, wonderful day care staff, and the distraction of things to be done. #hardtoletgo
02/01: [missed]
02/02: I am grateful for friends, fun, berry pie, pie traced toddler eyebrows, and unfortunate die rolls that lead to good story.
02/03: I'm grateful for a whole day with no appointments or errands, a chance to catch up on household chores.
02/04: I am grateful for Scott, sleeping in, fresh water, tea, sunlight, green grass, and a cleaner house.
