Life is frustrating, lately. This makes me want things to smile about. If you want to share, tell me something happy, or something that is making you want to smile right now, or something that would make you want to smile.
My thoughts: Nestle's Crunch Caramel flavor. Gencon all scheduled and booked. The color of the sun on the field out back. Getting to visit with my parents. The memory of Basta, my parents' cat who is 20+ years old, looking supple and sleek and spoiled. Sleep.

Buying a new car is good, especially since now I think I can actually afford it. Getting to keep my job is good and very soon I will be learning how "do to all the needful things." I'm guessing perhaps I need to drop my Indian accent before I get myself into trouble there. Vacation is always good but it is going to be especially good right now. I've seen some great sunrises these past three days, all different: deep red with lots of haze on Tuesday (perfect for the mood that day), bright yellow in a deep blue sky yesterday (perfact for the summer solstice), and orangy with just a few clouds this morning. I'm not sure how to read today's yet.

I'm still catching up to some degree! Sorry to hear about the duldrums!
Hmm...
The vacation was a /major/ smile and happiness producing trip. I simply cannot start to put words to describe the so many sights that we saw, and I doubt we caught even a smidgeon of them with the camera.
- Moose with foal
- white footed rabbits
- Sunrises and sunsets in the mountains
- Cool weather, including SNOW in June!
- Watching parents with their kids - such innocence and fascination shown at times by the kids by what they were seeing. For once, there wasn't too much whining and tantrums to be heard, except by the end of the day when said kids were just too tired. :)
- Gods, just the scenery everywhere you looked!!
Of course, returning to home, my own bed, the cats who /really/ missed us (Baby has to be pried away from me!), and our friends.
