Basta walks really creakily - her legs were turned in funny and my parents took her to the vet and got that diagnosis. There's stuff for it - might be worth asking your vet whether Bandit might be arthritic and then trying the stuff to help with it. I never got to see the changes (I will now, I guess!) but Dad said that near dose time, Basta would move more stiffly - then move better after - so very recognizable.
And it's amazing what Babe's shedding will inspire me to do. Like demanding a Roomba-ing of the upstairs hallway. ;)
