I got a call today while I was at work, from the Japanese Gardens. They are using four of my photos for a calendar! (These are photos I donated to them.) They wanted to know how I wanted to be credited, and whether I wanted a web-site link. All sorted out now. And I will get copies of the calendar. I am absolutely thrilled.

I suspected they might use them for something when they called late last year to ask about how they could be used; now I know. They will let me know at some point which four, as well.

I wish I could tell Mom and Dad. I at least got to tell them (or was it just Dad? I forget now--I think it was both) about the Gardens asking about my photos, back when, though. And hopefully, if it matters, somewhere they know. I suppose in the grand scheme of things it doesn't, but just now, today, it matters to me. And I wish I could tell them, 'cause I think they'd be pleased, maybe even proud.

I am. But somehow it feels nicer to let others be, for you. Huh.
