You comment, I pick three of your interests and three of your icons, and you elaborate on them.

[livejournal.com profile] tibicina asked about the following of my interests and icons:

Eversummer Eve is a web manga that is both lovely and interesting. I used to recommend it, but I no longer do since it is now Very Hard to pick up since the archives are only available to paid subscribers.

The Mysterium is a reference to the Deliria roleplaying game from Laughing Pan; the Mysterium is the gathering, in any area, of most of the people In The Know about the truths of the world.

Siren Songs is a mixed reference. In part, it refers to Lauren, my character at A Time Endless and still among my favorite characters, both for original concept and for the arc her actual story took. It also refers to my love of music (as a listener, mostly, but still there) and the fact that music can (if I let it) thoroughly enthrall me.

Icons:

Smiley fish. This icon was one I first encountered on a forum (I no longer know where) as one of those 'mood' smileys. There is this ongoing guppy joke among a large group of friends. At least one substantial portion of it started between myself and [livejournal.com profile] condotierre as a joke in a roleplaying game. So when I saw this, I grabbed as an icon, knowing that sooner or later she would post SOMETHING where I could comment with it. I have used it just once or twice - replying to posts where, well, someone deserves thwapped with a fish. Guppy or otherwise.

Bird. This is from a photo that I took myself, I think in Champoeg State Park. I liked it, so I made it into an icon and uploaded it; but I almost never use it because, honestly, I have no sense of when on earth I would use it. Oops.

Leaf. This was made for me by [livejournal.com profile] ohiblather during one of those 'make me an icon' memes. I love it, but I use it only occasionally, usually for posts directly related to the autumn season, or occasionally for something with a 'wistful' feel to it.
