Fan. Not quite as good as a hose, but better than AC or engine issues, anyway. Cost-wise, the hose would be better. Getting-it-to-the-mechanic-without-a-tow-wise, the fan may have been better luck (once we hit the freeway and could go 55, the airflow from our speed was covering for the dead fan).
