Lots of people do, and I often don't mind it; the conversation with her was just...odd. Trying to tell me the new fabric was nicer I kind of understand; she probably thought it was and thought she was being comforting / encouraging me to be happy with the change I had to make. But telling me two months wasn't that long after I'd said sure, no problem to wait...I just can't figure out why that particular statement.
