Mostly on Saturday before driving to see Jon. But still, I did.

Latest reads: Michelle Sagara's Cast In Shadow (a reread) and Cast In Courtlight (first time read). I'm waiting for the third book in the series; I have a hold on it at my library. Sometimes I find these books a little hard, if only because watching the main character be a twit is wince-worthy at times. But...she's so totally a twit in ways that make sense. And they're fascinating and fun.

I've also been reading (more gradually, since I started it after getting back last night) Jane Lindskold's Wolf's Blood. This is the final book in the series, per the inside leaflet. I wasn't sure the series actually would have an ending-point; I find myself somewhat disappointed to learn it does. I hope she tells other stories in the same world, at least. And I say all this without knowing what the ending is, because I'm less than halfway through the book. I'm so far enjoying it very much, for the most part. I find one of the viewpoint characters/areas (the opposition, as it were) doesn't interest me much, which happens sometimes when I read her books. As a consequence, I've been skimming them. I'm sure this means I've missed several key things, but I really don't care; I just want to follow the characters I've followed before, darnit! ;)
