terram is really a very patient man.

I was playing with Apple with the string fishing toy this afternoon. He was sitting nearby in the beanbag chair reading a book. (We both have today off.) I was leading Apple back and forth near him, when she abruptly got to one side of it and did a leap across the path I'd been leading her on. She landed square in Scott's lap, claws digging into his thighs slightly. She's soft-footed, but not that soft-footed.

After a couple false alarms, he got off the beanbag, sat to one side, and pulled the beanbag over his lap as he continued reading.
