Band-aid trivia: if you take one of those pre-wrapped alcohol pads that come in most first aid kits (or a alcohol-soaked cotton ball if you don't have a pad) and rub it along the connection point between your skin and the band-aid as you're pulling it off, the alcohol releases your skin from the adhesive and it doesn't hurt at all.
Only way I can get band-aids off the boys unless I let them keep the band-aids on for a week at a time. (EW!)

Oh, and just in case you ever need it: put school glue on a splinter. Let it dry. Peel glue off. Splinter comes with it. Never use tweezers again!
