It's been a day. Mostly good, but a day. Scott pulled something in his back so he's been resting, applying heat, etc. We're hoping that by being gentle to it and taking care of it now, it'll recover nicely and not impair him for ages. The result, however, is that I've been doing all the stuff that we normally split too. I am feeling enormously productive, proud of myself, and yeah, tired.

Folded laundry that was already in the laundry basket, washed/dried/folded two more loads, another load in the dryer (towels), a half-load in the washer, another half-load to wash after that (the half-load presently in the washer contains two new black shirts, hence the division; pfeh). May wash a load of baby laundry after that if I have time and energy. Speaking of Drew, feeding/caring for him, although Scott has done some diaper changes, and helped (hugely) with bathing Drew. Drew likes his baths, but he's still a little baby and two adults makes it easier than one. Today's bath was complicated by the grabby baby's desire to grab and eat the wash cloth and towel. Highly amusing, but.... Also took Drew out for a walk around the neighborhood (met a couple with twin 18-month-old daughters - I swear, the babies/toddlers spring out of every bush and sidewalk cranny this spring...).

Also took the trash out, and did the grocery shopping while Scott watched Drew. We needed some of that, especially the ibuprofen (we were out, ack) for Scott's back.

I'm hoping to get a load of dishes in the dishwasher tonight too; they can run after the last load of laundry goes into the dryer.

This is made easier by the fact that I got to sleep in this morning, waking on my own - no alarm, no crying fits - although I suspect the sound of Scott leaving for church may have woken me, but I didn't feel jolted awake. I felt wonderfully rested. I feel pretty tired by now tho.

Did I mention my cold has faded to minor sniffles and an occasional cough? SO GLAD. And the sinuses have settled. YAY.
