Let's see. I tried to go to the Japanese Gardens today. The parking lot was full. There was still a street-parking spot or six free (more than half were taken, but not all). However, even granted people walk from the street spots to the other gardens in the area, I took it as a BAD sign that the lot was full. Plus getting out of the street spots is sort of nerve wracking, being as they're head-in spots which let STRAIGHT onto the road. Hello, anyone want an accident?
Right. Got home, read my mail, and remembered that the "Interiors By Invitation" show is there right now, and for most of the rest of the month.
Joy. I'll go in the evening next week, I think. Maybe tonight, if I get the energy up: the Interiors show closes at 6, which, coupled with the dinner hour, means I might get some peaceful time before the gardens close at 7.
After that I attempted to make a set of livejournal mood icons. It took exactly one to remind me that I am NOT good with making small images. (Heck, I'm not -good- with making large ones, but at least I'm better.) Right. Skip the blasted icons.
Started descing a really neat area (the east tower for the Garden Towers on Ashes to Ashes, for anyone who cares). This is much more my area of strength: words. I'm having fun, and I feel a lot more capable than I did when dealing with the blobs. Er, icons.
