Sometimes, little things are everything. So far today: the dishes are done, the refrigerator has been stripped of the expired stuff (not much, fortunately), the laundry is almost done (one load of towels in the dryer), and I've started going over some papers I brought home from work to look over. Yay!

That's, like, my to-do list for the day. Once I finish those papers, all the rest is fun.

Oh, yeah. I almost forgot my Spanish homework - but I didn't. I've read one of the articles for the discussion part. I did need the dictionary for some words. Especially when they got into clothing. Discussing the Amish brings up articles of clothing (at least if, as this author was, you are being precise) that never came up in any of my other classes....

I have another two-page article to read, and then to formulate ideas for discussion for Wednesday. So I have a while.

Meanwhile, the old soda bottles in the kitchen are empty and ready for recycling, the dishwasher is almost emptied again, the laundry is done, and I've read a bit more of the book I'm reading (Emotional Intelligence by Daniel Goleman) as well as played some Word Whomp at excite.

No roleplay yet, and I might or might not get any in today at all, but I did a bit of staffly stuff, will probably do more later, and I'm enjoying my weekend.

I gotta do that more often, it's fun. ;)

...there are some ugly rumors and half-truths out there. There always are, but the tide of visible ones has gone up a little, unsurprisingly.

Then again, some of the true ones aren't exactly all that pretty.

But I got the documents I had to get read for work, read. I may try to do a couple that weren't on the "have to" list. I didn't get paged.

Hey! I don't have the pager for a whole week, starting tomorrow morning! Oh, bliss.

I think it's time to get that TV, tomorrow or Tuesday. Yay TV?

We'll see. Plus, I have two wonderful new admins on Ashes to Ashes, with the net result that I don't feel quite so overwhelmed. Help is such a useful thing. And I have one more I may be looking to bring on board this week.

I'm not, really, entirely suited to the position I'm in there, now. I love it. I love the site. I enjoy some inspections. Like, maybe one a week.

It hasn't been one a week for a while, though.

I love creating and descing things, too. But I'm so busy with inspections, I haven't found the energy to actually describe the apartment one of my characters lives in....

Eek.

On the other hand, I am roleplaying again, even if I didn't today, and it is fun. The mad ideas generator is back at work; and I wrote a character desc tonight, simply because a concept for it came into my head and I did. (It goes to an existing character who can change her form.)

Yay, creativity!

But now it's time for bed.
