Woke from a dream in which my dad was enjoying his retirement by taking up a new hobby: plant braiding. (Take a trailing plant such as a spider fern, and braid its fronds/leaves/whatevers together.)

Ummm. Okie. My mind is weird....

Signs that your deli reuses stuff a little too well, perhaps:

Hey, these croutons taste like cinnamon and sugar!

(Okay, stale bread, I can see. Stale garlic bread, yes. Stale rolls, yes. But stale sweet rolls?)

Came home from work. Vegged, read lj...and then put in a couple good, solid hours of work.

Most of what needed to be done for R., is. (One message is only prototyped - I need him to tell me the format of two fields, and confirm that I'm putting the right data in another - but it shouldn't take more than 30 minutes to clean up tomorrow, counting compile time.)

Since he leaves sometime tomorrow, this is a good thing.

It works. It really, really works.

Sweet.

And if I'm going to be functional tomorrow, I sleep. :)
