N. postponed our 10 am meeting to this afternoon sometime. Why?

Because their garage door, as she put it, "sprung a spring" and, without it, can't be opened, including manually. As their cars are in there, and they have to hang around for the repairman to show up....

Oops. :)

N. brought in almonds to the office for the treat dish.

And I had two, because they looked delicious.

At least I'm not nearly as allergic to almonds as I am to hazelnuts. Nothing itches, nothing swelling up. But I am staying away from them for the rest of the day.

Outlook automatically replies to HTML messages in HTML, no matter how I try to turn it off.

Then, it won't let me insert blank (non-prefixed) lines below parts (ie, in the middle) of the message I'm replying to so I can reply to individual parts.

I'm sure I've done something screwball. Nonetheless, I want to say: FUCK THIS.

Ahem. 'Scuse. I gotta go beat on the email program. So far, the most promising technique seems to be "convert to text, losing ALL delineation of which is replied-to-text, then hand-insert such markers." I am not real pleased.

Update: Found a way to do it. Just "remove indent". Why yes, I associate a vertical bar with indent. Naturally. Grrrrr. Shouldn't it just do it when I hit enter, the way Eudora does? What a pain....

I'm sitting at work. At 6:30. On a Friday. Rejoicing because I have chicken cup o'noodles, and will only have to take one laptop home on pager rotation tonight.

This is so wrong. :P

Anyway, gotta finish updating this task list.... (A task in itself, ugh!)
