Good starts to the day, and bad starts to the day.

On the one hand, I got two more boxes of stuff packed this morning, and headed out to work cheerful and awake (after staying up late last night reading a book after the roleplaying session). When I arrived, I had an email explaining exactly where the problem lies in our biggest bugaboo affecting the one project whose schedule is so critical. We still have to fix it, but we know where it is.

On the other hand, one of my team members is out sick, another may be (he said he had "the flu" in his email of last night - but he hasn't called in, and customarily arrives about 10 o'clock and works 'til 6 or 7, so we shall see. The grandmother of another person on my team has pneumonia.

What is it with the illness thing this particular week, I wonder?

Is this good, or bad?

On the one hand, the project we were trying to keep from slipping, slipped. On the other hand, we got a lot done toward trying to keep it from doing so.

On the other-other hand, this means a lot of pressure off of us....

Mmm. Good day.

On the one hand, I didn't get as much done as I meant to in moving - I meant to take two loads over. On the other hand, I hadn't had anything prepared, so I packed, moved, and unpacked an entire carload of stuff, plus unpacking maybe half or a bit more of what Scott had taken over and dropped off. (He had a game - I'd suggested he do that, since at least that way it would get moved.)

A good night, all in all. There was leftover pizza at the house from the gaming party yesterday, so I reheated it in the microwave and had that and some soda for dinner; had fruit snacks when I got home.

Hung out online for the hour I should have been packing for half of it (oops) and tormented friends (actually, I think my mental images tormented me more than them...but hey, it was worth a try).

Sleepy now. Bed is soon, I think.
