Well, that was interesting.

We did go see Spiderman last night - I was basically dead, and not sure my headache would stay away (I ate and napped when I got home, which drove it off a little bit). It did, but just barely. I was very spacy; considering the movie, that was just as well. It was vaguely fun, but Scott and I both figured it was probably only really worth matinee price.

Oh, well, such is life. By the time we got home from that I had my headache back (actually, I think it was standing up and then walking close to the speakers to get out that did it--). So I went to bed.

And this morning? I'm tired, and stuffed up, and unamused, and hoping that my medicine keeps this under control. Bah.

Pretty day!

I got to test the geo load, and it's working! It needed only one tweak, and it plays all nice and does good stuff. The guy who did this is the second-newest member of our team, and he does good work.

I just marked a version and am doing builds now; I got to turn down a couple enhancement requests and agree to a couple more; I have people working on what they need to be working on, myself included. (R. is working on the networking. I'm assisting, but I really was getting stuck, whereas he is still finding things - admittedly I think he's chasing his tail, here, but I may be dead wrong. We need the other R. - my former supervisor - back. Because I really think he can train this guy in what was meant and we will get incredible results. I'd like to learn too, so I know more of what I'm doing than just the theory.)

It's beautiful out. The sun is shining and the trees with the red-purple leaves are glittering in it and all the trees are swaying. The sky is a brilliant blue, the clouds are high and white and underlined in a suddenly-dark grey. It's beautiful.

And my headache is gone!
