I'm feeling okay. Sort of blah. I didn't feel well last night and it kept me up late, so the fact that I'm feeling okay-but-blah is actually a good sign.

Of course, I meant to get some work done at home last night. I didn't, since I felt lousy after I took my break. (My break consisted of convincing my computer it would use the DVD player I like, not the Activision thingy that came with the Harry Potter DVD, to play DVDs - this was fairly easy, Activision is friendly about its options even if it doesn't appear to actually work much. Then I played Dungeon Siege for a while - I find it amusing that my laptop can run it, but my desktop cannot. Desktop has less memory, and a processor that's too low-end. Desktop also crashes when you try it, so....)

I will not acquire ulcers from the crash issues at this site. I will not acquire ulcers from the....

I'm off to debug a crash.

...and despite how abysmal I was at history at times, I think I'm glad. A 23% a passing grade?

Apparently, the whole "kitten kaboodle" has been put on my share so I can pick it up.

I am disappointed to find no cat pictures in this new source!

I drove home a new way - it's slightly slower than I-5, but it's pretty. I doubt I'll take it very often, though, because it does involve a stretch of I-5 and one of the most annoying exits on it, the Tualatin-Sherwood exit. Gonna have to try to find another way of getting to 65th than the Tualatin-Sherwood road (notwithstanding that, according to traffic flow if not signage, said road literally turns into 65th).

65th is a straight shot, more through country than not, to Stafford (aka the Wilsonville Road depending on where you are on it). So it's a fairly good route. If I can find a way (that isn't too painful) to avoid I-5 altogether, it would make a lovely alternate route option. (Boones Ferry connects and would get me back there. Pardon me while I laugh hysterically at the thought of Boones Ferry at rush hour, having made the mistake of being on it once or twice....)

It'll also make a nice "casual" drive for when we're actually going to Tualatin, of course. Handy, that, especially since the Tualatin exits in particular are not designed for the kind of traffic they get, as far as I can tell. Either that or they just love to be jammed back onto the freeway when it will complicate my day....

I got some cleaning done around the house, not quite as much as I'd hoped, but more than I'd feared, anyway. Hung out with friends online intermittently and - and this really damaged the cleaning effort - played Dungeon Siege.

A great deal of fun, that. I finally had to make myself save and exit, on the theory that I ought to go to bed. Which resulted in my coming over to post to LiveJournal! Gee, aren't I good about sticking to my intents?

But I'm happy. And happy's worth a lot, in my book. Especially after this week at work, the last thing I want to do is come home and feel lousy because I don't get everything done. I'll just be pleased I got some done, and get more done over the rest of the weekend intermittently.

And I guess I'll go to bed, since falling asleep in this chair would probably result in uncomfiness.
