Maybe it's bratling-like to be looking forward to it...nah, my last one got canceled, and I've almost accumulated the max vacation days that I can without having my accrual suspended. I work through Friday; then I'm off until August 13, and I have let all my coworkers know so they won't send me urgent email on Monday, because I will not be seeing it if they do.
I'll be online as much as ever until Wednesday next week, when I'll go missing till Sunday. Hopefully I will have a good time at GenCon and have something positive to say when I get back!
Am I existing in the thought of my vacation? Well, only because the "have a good vacation" replies to my email to everyone have started rolling in. Heee.
Work is going pretty well, too. The code is behaving and the fixes are getting placed. Bit by bit things go well. Had to write up a bit of paperwork I didn't like (does anyone ever like paperwork, no matter how good or bad?), but that's done too.
I'm debating if I'll go to the park tonight on my way home or not. I might.
