Good morning, and back to work.

"Receiving message 88 of 170...." Joy. Welcome back to work. It's clear and sharp and sunny outside - although it was pleasantly cool, it's easy to believe that this will turn into a record-breaking scorcher. Work is air-conditioned, so if I have to work late tonight, I won't be entirely sorry.

Unless I'm still doing my email clearing by then, in which case....

Apparently our last fish died while I was away. The tank is 3/4 full, with all the plants and stones removed, and no fish. I'd worry about the heater, but it's obviously been running in this state for some time, so it's screwed up if it's going to be.

Bah. Still, it doesn't look like too many crises lurking. I'm still hunting for updates on a couple that were going on when I left, tho. Email. Ack!
