I find this terribly amusing.

I wasn't going to catch up on LJ until I got home tomorrow evening, but I am doing some of it now, and I will probably be awake enough in a bit to handle something I thought I would have to defer until tomorrow.

When did I turn into a morning person?

I slept very well last night, and I woke up this morning - about an hour ago, I think, maybe a bit more - and was simply awake. Comfortable, rested, awake. Not entirely capable of thinking at that point, but I'm getting there now.

Everyone went to bed about the same time, but so far, I'm the only one stirring. And compared to how I was in high school and even college, that is so wrong.... :)

I'm good, though there's not much new to say. But, utsuri has lots of rechargers and all my camera batteries are recharged now! Yay!! I think I'm going to want that as I'm looking forward to being camera-happy one or both of these days. I want some photos of the area, objects, utsuri, and she's agreed to take some more shots of me that I can mine for userpics also. I won't have to explain my camera to her if I want them on there - we have the exact same model!

I am sort of looking forward to seeing her reaction to my outfit. I'm wearing a bright pink shirt and the blue and white checked skirt that was my most recent acquisitions.

Anyone who knows me in person for very long knows I almost never actually wear skirts, because the no-pockets thing irritates me. But today I don't really need pockets; I have no relevant keys, and that's what I use them for!

Hehehehe.

Probably going to head out for the day in a while. But I actually caught up on all of the posts from last Sunday on (way too awake, I am). *grins* You people write too much, that was skip=345 or so!

I was a tripod today!

We went to the conservatory to see Glass in the Gardens and got loooots of pics. It was fun wandering through, seeing the glass and the plants - boy was it hard to spot all the glass, I'm sure we missed some. I saw some of it only because someone else was looking at it.

Then we rode around the loop and looked at buildings. It was great. Going to do some more photography in the morning, I suspect, and then head airport-wards. Looks like departure has to be noon or 12:30 to get there on time.

Oh, and food...yummy! Jenn lives right over a Mexican restaurant that makes great burritos and just up the street from a great Italian place. There's cheesecake in the fridge right now waiting for us to be hungry enough to assault it, and a lovely brownie for good measure.

Much fun. Pretty glass. And music to inflict on Jenn. :)

Oh! And I said - I was a tripod today. Some of the shots were too high for my little mini tripod to be useful. Jenn got some of them using me and my shoulder as a tripod setup. Which worked good for a couple.
