Stress levels at peak....

...I hope, 'cause if they rise any more I may lose it. Busy, busy, CRAZY week.

I'm looking forward to getting my stitches out Friday, my tooth fixed as well. Very looking forward to seeing D & E.

At least there haven't been any after-hours calls. I have the cell but that at least has gone right. So have several other things, at this point we're in pretty decent shape, I guess - as long as we don't mind working more long days, but I think we already worked out that was going to be this week.

I'm going home as soon as the database stuff is done, tho'. I can nail off a couple more items at home tonight but I'm getting a bit tired and would rather drive before 7 for once this week if I can.

I wonder if I can get one of Thursday's tasks done now while I wait on someone on another task. Bet I can!

Daaaay.

I'm home. I left work around 7, as I'd hoped. Still a drive home in the dark. The critical stuff that had to be done today? Done.

I got to work at 7:30 and took a ten-minute lunch and only a couple other short breaks.

Did I mention I brought work home? Ooops. I did. I need to start on it, or tomorrow will be a bear and a half full of suddenly time-critical tasks. At least now I have time to fiddle around or make a mistake if I do.

Sooooo looking forward to seeing if the end of this week brings a break of any sort.

Ohhh! And I shipped my expense check paying for the last trip back to headquarters. They promise to return it by Friday (overnight there, overnight back). This time, unless they really screw it up, it will be signed so that I may deposit it.
